Redacta ("we", "our", or "the app") is an iOS application that helps you detect and redact sensitive information in images. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Redacta does not collect, transmit, store, or share any of the following:
All image processing is performed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision and Core Image frameworks. Your images never leave your iPhone.
Redacta collects the following limited, non-personal data:
Redacta does not use any advertising networks, analytics SDKs that collect personal data, or social media trackers. In-app purchases are handled entirely through Apple's native StoreKit framework. We do not integrate any third-party purchase or subscription management services that process your personal data.
All data created by Redacta (saved field values, redaction history thumbnails, preferences) is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard storage mechanisms (UserDefaults, Documents directory). This data is included in your standard iCloud or iTunes device backup if you have backups enabled, but is not accessible to us.
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data immediately.
Redacta is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Because Redacta does not collect personal data tied to your identity, there is no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete on request. If you have any questions about your rights, please contact us at support@redacta.app.
